Golf Instruction
Year-round instruction focuses on providing the best growth opportunities for junior golfers – not just as golfing athletes, but as future community participants and leaders. From the basics of putting and chipping to full-swing mechanics, our instructors utilize proven techniques to build the habits and patterns that instill confidence and skill.
Patrick Parrish, PGA
Patrick Parrish has had a lifelong passion for golf. He was one of California’s top-ranked junior golfers and after high school he was offered a spot by Eddie Merrins to join the no.1-ranked UCLA Bruins golf team playing alongside future PGA Tour stars Corey Pavin, Steve Pate, Duffy Waldorf and Tom Pernice, Jr. After receiving a Master’s in English Literature at UC Berkeley, Patrick played a short time on the Nike Tour and Asian Tour. He discovered that his true love for golf is in the successful development of players.
Patrick has served as a board member since 2007 and has been honored twice as The AT&T Pebble Beach Junior Golf Association “Golf Professional of the Year” award. He has served as the association’s director of instruction for 10 years. He fondly remembers his junior golf days and carries over this passion in his coaching of juniors, hoping they will find their own love for the game. Patrick currently serves as Director of Tournaments and Instruction at The Club at Pasadera.
